On Friday, October 12, GCS toured Mitchell Farm. What a day that was for the children. The farm grows many things. You can find corn, wheat, soybeans, pumpkins and much more!

Mrs. Jennifer Jaynes-King says, “Children need to learn where their food comes from, and that it’s not from the frozen food section at the grocery
store!”

In addition to farming, Mitchell Farm has added all types of fun activities for the children:

  1. Wagon Ride Tours,
  2. Corn Maze and Corn Pool,
  3. Cinderella Pumpkin,
  4. Tractor Slide Racer,
  5. Sunflower Field,
  6. Gem Mining,
  7. Goat Castle and Animal Barn,
  8. Culvert Slide, and
  9. Pumpkin Express Train Ride.

Can you imagine the fun GCS children had at Mitchell Farm? They spent the day learning about farming and having a great time as well!
